If you've lost your iPhone, you could use your Apple Watch to ring your iPhone, but you're not always in a position to ring your phone loudly. Here's another way I use my Apple Watch to find my iPhone. The first thing I think of when I can't find my iPhone is "Is it near me or did I leave it somewhere completely different?" To figure this out, I take a quick glance at my watch. If the red "disconnected" icon appears at the top of the screen, it's not in the general vicinity. This helps me retrace my steps while filtering out any places that may throw me off. If the icon does not appear, it's near you and you can retrace your steps just a few minutes back. I use this strategy whenever I worry I misplaced my iPhone.

Find My AirPods
In iOS 10.3, Apple will add AirPods integration to Find My iPhone. This will display the location of AirPods on a map along with your other devices. In addition, you can play a sound on the left, the right, or both AirPods to help locate them. This only works when the AirPods are out of the case, since they can't be heard as well while in the case. iOS 10.3 is currently in beta and has no release date.

Find My Watch Coming Soon...
According to 9to5Mac, Apple will release a way to find an Apple Watch, called Find My Watch, supposedly a similar concept of Find My iPhone. It may also be able to let users know if they've left their iPhone behind. It's not known when this feature will hit the public.
"First, Apple has been working on a feature dubbed “Find my Watch” for the Apple Watch, which as the name implies will allow a user to track a Watch’s location, as well as lock or remotely wipe it if it is lost or stolen. [...] Given the Apple Watch’s reliance on an iPhone, Apple plans to implement Find my Watch via what’s currently known inside the company as “Smart Leashing.” According to a source, the Watch will use its wireless signal to establish its location relative to the iPhone, and will optionally be able to notify a user if the iPhone is accidentally left behind."

Send Last Location To Find My iPhone When Battery Is Low
When the battery of your iOS device is low, that's the worst possible time you want to lose it. However, in iOS 8, you can have the last location of your iOS device sent to Find My iPhone automatically when its battery is critically low. You can enable this by going to Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone > and switching "Send Last Location" on. It should be noted that this is disabled by default. I hope this helps!

Find My iPhone
If you've lost your iPhone, you should always be sure to check Find My iPhone. Go to iCloud.com on the computer or download the app on your iOS devices. Be sure to set it up on your iOS device prior to losing it. To check, go to Settings > iCloud > and make sure that "Find My [iOS device]" is set to on.

Secure Your Security: Part Two!
Last night, I've found another issue that can be very bad for your iOS device. If you haven't read part one of this post, I recommend that you read it by clicking here. Apple has a security hole in which people can possibly get into your account. However, I have a fix for it.
How to do it:

Find My iPhone Update 2.0.1
Apple released a new update for the Find My iPhone app. This allows you to get directions to your device within the app. This requires iOS 6. The app also has details and options of the device to be hidden until tapped. This is probably used to prevent accidental deletion or locking of iOS devices.

Secure your Security!
You may know about the great, free service, Find My iPhone. And being a person having that service, you might feel like your iPhone is invincible. Nothing can happen to it. Well, I've learned that there is just one flaw.
Picture this scenario:
You're walking down the street when a thief snatches your iPhone without you noticing. When you get home, you realize that your iPhone is missing and look for it on the convenient Find My iPhone app on your iPad. However, your iPhone isn't being shown on the map. You can't see it's location!
This issue is becoming more and more common among people. In this story, the thief was genius enough to turn off location services in order to take the iPhone completely off the grid. How can you prevent this? You can do a passcode. Or you could be more sophisticated and keep the thief from disabling the location services in the first place. Simply go to Settings > General > Restrictions and enable the restrictions if you haven't already. Then, scroll down to the "Allow Changes" section. Select Location Services. After that, select "Don't Allow Changes". And of course, you can turn this on and off as you please with your passcode.
