Japan is dealing with heavy rains as of late, which has caused some severe flooding. Because most Apple products are not waterproof, Apple is offering free repairs for any Mac, iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, iPod, or Thunderbolt Display damaged by the Japan floods for free. While this doesn't affect most people in America (unless they traveled to Japan), information regarding this can be found at the official Apple Japan website.
