Every model of the iPad has continued to have a headphone jack. However, I think we're all trained to Apple's habits and behaviors where this doesn't come as too much of a shock. Mac Otakara reports that this year's iPad Pro won't have a headphone jack. Since most people have adapted to not having a headphone jack on iPhone in one way or another, this shouldn't be too much of a growing pain. There is also no adapter expected to be shipped with the device.
