Apple's AR Glasses

Whenever Apple announces a new genre of product these days, we usually hear about them years in advance. Take the Apple Watch. The long-rumored "iWatch" had a lot building up to it. The same goes for the AR headset that Apple has been working on for some time now. It's no secret that Apple sees a lot of future in AR, and these glasses would be the perfect medium for AR-based apps. Apple would probably be the best company to do it considering how many resources they've put into AR, in addition to Apple's stance on privacy. Ming-Chi Kuo is now saying that these glasses could be releasing in 2020, which feels relatively close. Whether this will be an actual trend or just another Google Glass will likely be up to timing.

Google Glass 2.0

Google Glass 2

Remember Google Glass? It's finally back, but for enterprise. What? Well, while it is nice to see Glass getting some practical application, what about all the consumers who want to get their hands-- I mean faces on this product? And what about the "explorers" who paid $1500 for it? Do they get an upgrade? It doesn't seem like it, which is a shame because leaks show the device with a better processor and better battery. Not only that, but it only has half of a frame instead of a full frame (shown to the right). Probably the number one complaint from the device was that it would overheat and the battery was too small. Hopefully, these groups will get their chance. If you want to hear my impressions of the original Google Glass, check out my (really old) review below.

Google Glass Review

After several months of planning, cinematic taking, and editing, I have finally finished my Google Glass review! I hope you like it!

Google Glass is a great example of the potential of wearables, but does it live up to all of its speculated expectations? Find out in this review!

Google Celebrates Your Birthday!

Today is my birthday, so I wanted to show some of the ways that Google celebrates your birthday. Note that you must input your birthday into Google+. Check out the photos below for a visual as to how Google celebrates your special day.

When signed in, Google will give you your own
custom Google Doodle made entirely out of cake!

In Google Now for iPhone and Android, you will get the same
Google Doodle. If you have someone on Google+ in your circles,
their face will appear and it will show an option to wish them
happy birthday via a private message on Google+.

Even Google Glass gets in on the action with a timeline
card with- you guessed it- the Google Doodle of cake.
