For months, there have been confident rumors that the iPhone 8 will have wireless charging. Thanks to MAKS+ on YouTube, we may have evidence that this is true. In the video below, the existing charging sound is played first, followed by a "whoosh" sound with the charging sound following it. Both sounds were extracted files from iOS 11. The file is also called engage_power.caf. Everything here is very fitting for an inductive wireless charging feature.
