Despite short stock, AirPods may soon earn more for Apple than the Apple Watch, according to analyst Gene Munster. This comes after WWDC, where Apple noted that people love using their Apple Watches with AirPods. He said that AirPods will contribute the same revenue as the Apple Watch by 2020. A bold statement considering there is little information to go off of. From my personal experience, I've seen many more Apple Watches than pairs of AirPods, but AirPods were just released, so who can say? If this is true, I'm very glad to see that AirPods are becoming more popular.
