After a week of waiting, HealthKit finally works! But at what cost? Many customers (specifically with iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus) are complaining that the update caused Touch ID to not work and cellular data to fail as well. An hour after its release, the update was pulled. Apple says that it's investigating these problems.
So, here's what we have so far. At WWDC, Apple makes a big deal about Health and even makes an advertisement for it. Three months later, a last-minute bug cans the entire app for its debut in iOS 8. Apple said it would have a fix by the end of September. And here we are now! I can guarantee that Steve Jobs would've never let this happen.
