Google is downranking apps for iTunes in search results

Have you been looking for an app on Google and can't find the iTunes link lately? TechCrunch and I have noticed that links for iTunes apps are being "down-ranked". Take a look at the photos below (and don't worry about personalization).



When you type "Google iPhone", only the Google Maps app comes up
and its at the bottom of the page.
The iTunes link isn't even shown on this page
When you type "Twitter App", the Google Play app comes first (blue)
When you type "Twitter iPhone", the iTunes link is far down
