Apple Park in Venom

This weekend, the big movie to see is Venom. For those of you who plan to see it soon, be sure to look out for a small Apple Park reference. Within the first five minutes of the movie, Eddie Brock will briefly mention Silicon Valley in his news report, as the movie's setting is San Francisco. There is a short clip of Apple Park drone footage in the bottom right corner. I'm not sure if this is Apple's own footage, but I personally like to believe that Sony did a quick YouTube search for Apple Park and ripped a random person's drone footage without permission. Regardless, it is definitely cool to see Apple Park become such a landmark. It is almost synonymous with "Silicon Valley Tech Campus" to many.

Apple Park Drone Shots

Duncan Sinfield is a drone videographer that frequently gets drone shots of Apple Park. However, he fears that his Apple Park visits may come to an end soon. He states that within ten minutes of takeoff, two security cars are sent to his location where he is asked to stop. He politely respects their wishes and leaves. He also uses this as a warning for others hoping to get drone shots of Apple Park. While I understand any disappointment regarding this, it does make sense that Apple would want to regulate third-party drones for both safety and security reasons. Duncan's drone footage is below if you'd like to see it.

Apple Park Visitor Center

Apple Park has been challenging what a corporate headquarters can be with its architectural feats. In this video, I take a look at the Apple Park Visitor Center, located just across the street from Apple Park. Shot on iPhone X.

Apple Park Visitor Center

On November 17, Apple Park will open to the public. Apple is also sending invites to those who live near Apple Park to visit on the 16th. This center has an observation deck, a cafe, and a seating area. There is also a gift shop. After all the waiting, it’s exciting to see the visitor center finally open so the public can experience Apple Park firsthand.

Inside the Steve Jobs Theater

The Steve Jobs Theater is stunning from not just the outside, but the inside too! There are a few things to take away from the diagram below. The stairs lead past an exhibit room, which has retractable walls to prevent people from seeing the soon-to-be-unveiled products. There are also two rotating elevators that were custom-made for the Steve Jobs Theater. The press is truly getting the first-class treatment on this one.

Apple Park: Almost Complete

A week before the first event in the Steve Jobs Theater, we have drone footage from Duncan Sinfield of an almost completed Apple Park. In the video, people are already inside of the Steve Jobs Theater. It's amazing to see this come to fruition a few years later.

Apple Park Causing Tree Shortage

Apple Park is a beautiful campus that uses elements of nature and technology in its design. Unfortunately, Apple may be purchasing a few trees too many. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Apple has bought so many trees, it has created a tree shortage. Apple plans to buy up to 3,000 trees for Apple Park. Very interesting to see how Apple's architectural feats affect other areas.

Apple Park

Apple has announced that Apple Campus 2 will be called "Apple Park." The new campus will open in April. In addition, the theater within Apple Park will be named the "Steve Jobs Theater," in honor of the late CEO, who would've turned 62 this Friday. The campus definitely looks Apple. I'm looking forward to visiting it eventually.
