Many programming languages, along with many other forms of technology, usually have a form of certification. Because Apple wants Swift to be taught to many people, an official Swift Certification will be created. Apple worked in collaboration with Certiport. The exam will cover not just the language, but also aspects of Xcode and other app development tools. It will be released in fall of 2018.
