After so many concerns regarding privacy and technology, Apple will be requiring all new and updated apps to have a privacy policy starting October 3. Privacy policies disclose what data is used and how it will be used by the developer. While this will be a requirement for all updated apps, there appears to be no immediate consequence for developers who choose not to update their apps, other than not being able to update their apps. This will eventually become an unavoidable when Apple makes another essential requirement for apps in the future.
