Regardless of any opinions on styluses and Apple products, it seems baffling that the Apple Pencil has been restricted to be only used with the iPad for so long. That could finally change with this year's iPhone X models [Source: Economic Daily News]. While current iPhone X models would be unaffected, the second-generation iPhone X would support it. Eleven years after the original iPhone declared that styluses are not the future, it finally has one. On the bright side, Apple Pencil is completely optional.
