Lasting just over 11 years, the Apple Store in Simi Valley, California is closing down this month. An Apple Store closing is a very rare occurrence, but it can happen. Many people report that the mall the store was located in was a bit of a graveyard, so it's likely that a combination of poor sales and bad location are to blame. The store will close September 15.
