As an April Fools' joke, Google made an addition to their Google Cardboard VR line, which is ironic because using a piece of cardboard for VR sounds crazy by its self. This addition is called Google Cardboard Plastic. It's literally just a piece of plastic shaped like Google Cardboard. The only difference is that you don't put your phone in it. Thus, you are now immersed in actual reality. The resolution and sound are as good as your vision and hearing. You can check out the promo video below.
