About seven years ago, Corning posted the video below. The video shows off a concept called "A Day Made of Glass," where glass technology can be utilized to create a cohesive and immersive experience throughout your day. I would watch this thinking it was the future. However, it seems we're getting closer to this than ever. While the full glass technology isn't on our horizon, the functionality depicted is possible. With assistants like Alexa and smart appliances in our homes, we've already setup the framework for this type of functionality. Even our phones have edge-to-edge displays. Not everything in the video will be what Corning predicted, like 3D TVs and non-self driving cars, but it's nice to look back on. Be sure to check out the video below.
