Recently, a bug has appeared in Google Search that cause iOS and OS X apps to display erroneous one-star ratings. Obviously, this is bad for app developers as Google is a popular search engine and is a popular alternative to looking up an app using the native App Store. Google has stated that they will fix this problem in the next week. This bug only seems to affect apps with less than 5 reviews (the amount to display an average on the App Store). Unfortunately, this means it's more likely to affect small and indie developers.
