OS X 10.10.3 Supports Google 2-Step Verification

As mentioned yesterday, Mac OS X 10.10.3 beta was released for developers. You can now use 2-step verification in System Preferences for Google accounts. Previously, users would need an application-specific password. 2-step verification allows people to have a code sent to a device to prove their identity on any new devices accessing an account.
