If for some reason you need to hide a photo from your Photos app in iOS, you can do so in iOS 8. Simply open the Photos app, hold on the thumbnail of a photo, and tap "Hide". They will be hidden from your photos and can only been seen in an album called "Hidden". At the moment, you can't put a passcode on this album and photo backup services, like Google+, will still back up these photos, so be warned. Also, hiding photos won't hide the photos from an album it is already in.
