In recent times, Raspberry Pi has been an trending topic. It's a nice product. Basically, it's a $35 credit card sized computer that you can do a lot with. You can use it as a personal weather station or a garage door opener. There are some cool projects, so try Googling for them. It has the very basics and requires an SD card, wired internet connection for internet (or WiFi dongle), HDMI for a display, and a 3.5mm jack for sound. Check it out!
