One of the most trending acquisitions since Apple acquired Beats has been Google acquiring Twitch for $1 billion. For those who don't know, Twitch is a major San Francisco based website that allows gamers to stream games live to their viewers. Google (specifically YouTube) will use it to enhance their streaming services in some way. Not much else is known on the acquisition and Twitch had no comment.
