Do you want to make your iPhone 10% more geekier? Check this out! Do you remember the classic sound from AOL that says, "You've Got Mail"? If you do, this is for you. Simply go onto iTunes on your iOS device and search for "You've Got Mail". Go to the ringtones section and listen to one of the ringtones. If this is the sound, buy it. Once downloaded, go to Settings > Notifications > find "Mail" in the list > VIP > New Mail Sound > and select the ringtone you just bought. Do the same for all the mail accounts you have (optional). There you go! Whenever you get mail (depending if you did the optional step), you'll hear "You've Got Mail!"
All of your Mac and iOS questions and rumors can be answered! How? Easy! Just ask a teenager! What's better? Ask an Apple Certified teenager! Ask me! Alex! Writing once every single day since 2012!

Thanks. How do you do it on Mac?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I cannot see any official way to make a custom sound on Mac. There is probably a way to do it with some simple Terminal commands though.
