One of my favorite parts about traveling in Japan was the robust transit system. Using my Suica card on my iPhone made it ridiculously easy to pay and travel. It seems that the Los Angeles Metro Transit System will follow a similar route [Source: MacRumors]. Rollout is scheduled for this fall, but we plan to see the TAP cards integrated with Apple Pay. It's undeniable that Apple Pay makes it more convenient to use transit cards, and the more places they're accepted at using Apple Pay, the better for us.
