AirPower has officially missed its 2018 release date. I bet most reading this forgot about AirPower until now. And that's just the thing. Most people interested in wireless charging already have a wireless charger. You can get a fully functional one for about $20 on Amazon. But Apple wants to sell you one for probably nearly $200. Most people seem to have lost any interest in this product. Yes, I'd rather have an AirPower that's safe, but that doesn't excuse such an early announcement. If AirPods got delayed, AirPower seemed like a long shot for releasing on time.
