The next generation of Bluetooth is expected to be announced next week. Bluetooth 5 will be faster and have more range than Bluetooth 4. I think this generation of Bluetooth will fully rid Bluetooth of the stereotype of having poor quality for audio or being too slow for transfer. Bluetooth 4 did a good job at this, but I feel like we just needed a little more of a push for Bluetooth. Bluetooth is being very essential to our products (i.e. Apple Watch, Beats), which means this update has perfect timing. Now, as for when this would be integrated into the next iPhone, it could be. We could see this as soon as the iPhone 7 this November. Let's hope so!
