Google Paid Apple $1 Billion To Stay As The iOS Default Search Engine

Although Apple seems all to happy to use Bing in its Siri functions today, Google actually paid Apple $1 billion in 2014 to be the default search engine according to Bloomberg. Quite a lot of money when I'm sure many people would've changed the setting to Google either way, but I'm not complaining. As for if this contract between Apple and Google will continue, we can't be sure about that yet.
