The Apple Store app will gladly list AirPods as one of their "last-minute gifts." Unfortunately, it seems like that won't be the case. The site shows that they will not be available to ship until January. There may be some still available in retail stores and third party retailers, so not all hope is lost, but with a week until Christmas, stock is sure to go fast.
