The font is not a regular font like Courier, but rather a custom-made font. By digging through iTunes resource files, the team found two fonts. Scancardium is used to recognize and enter the codes, while Spendcardium hides credit card info as it's entered. With the Scancardium font, you could make your own autoscanning gift card.
