With Apple Watches available for try-ons at Apple Stores, customers have had a chance to see what we think is the final model of the Apple Watch before its release. This model still has a diagnostic port that was thought to be removed before its release. I think I have an explanation. At Apple Watch try-ons, the Apple Watch that is worn is deactivated from use. It is a real Apple Watch, but it doesn't allow you to use it. Therefore, I believe the diagnostic port will be removed from the final model.
