How to turn off cellular data

When you travel abroad, data and voice costs more. A LOT more. $2.05 per megabyte (Verizon customers). You'll even get a text message. 


To turn off data, follow the steps below. 

iOS 6 Users:
Go to Settings > General > Cellular > turn off "Cellular Data". 


iOS 5 Users:
Go to Settings > General > Network > turn off "Cellular Data". 

When you return to your country of origin, be sure to turn "Cellular Data" back on.
