Aliases Were Made For Things Like Yelp

Aliases are fake names used to protect your identity. Food apps are practically made for this sorta thing. I mean, think about it. Do you really want to tell the world what you're eating, where, and what you think about it? Seriously, what app stalks you like that?! Okay, I can think of three right away (Facebook, Google+, Foursquare). But still. Yelp has a special field in the account settings asking if you want to use an alias. What do you think?
